Did you hear Dayton Moore's comments before last nights game? When asked he said he was satisfied with where the Royals were at here at the almost quarter mark of the season. His answer was that he was satisfied!?! Really??? You are 18 - 19? A game under .500 and 5 games behind Detroit and he is satisfied? Might be the problem with this team starts at the top!

22 - split the series with the Orioles...now a home series with Chicago....then a West coast swing - all warm weather games...hopefully the bats stay alive.

It didn't lose the game but someone should put a size 16 shoe up Dyson's ass for getting picked off second in the bottom of the ninth. Runners on 1st and 2nd, no one out and knowing that the sox were not wanting a ball to get through the infield to tie the game.....................what was their infielder doing standing only 10-12 feet behind Dyson without him knowing something was up. It turned the whole inning around. Dyson goes completely brain-dead at times.

Riddle me this Batman... Your lead off hitter singles to start the bottom of the ninth. He is supposedly fast and you've said what a smart base runner he is. So you pinch run for him with Dyson (your base stealing "weapon").. and then STILL bunt anyway??? In what convoluted way does that make any sense??? Sometimes I have NO earthly idea what Ned The BrainDead is thinking. It even makes less sense then leaving Vargas in to pitch to Konerko (who has something like a .400 career average against Vargas) especially when Vargas was off all night and had already given up two dingers??? Or as much sense as continuing to trot Mike the .150 hitter Moustakas out there and not sending him down.
I hope I am wrong but I do not see this team ever even making the playoffs much less winning with Ned the BrainDead as the manager...

23...back to .500, which is not great but much better than this time last year.
Still a lost series even with the win tonight but a winning home stand...now to the left coast.

It's being reported that the Royals FINALLY sent Moose down to Omaha. I hope a trip down to Omaha does the same thing for him that it did for Gordon and Butler...

We need Seitzer back!!! Get rid of Pedro. But, we also need guys like Shields, Gordon, and Perez to get in guys' faces and tell them to start doing their job. Right now there are only 4-5 guys on the team that I would keep.

What's up with the Royals whipping the Blue Jays 2 in a row?!?! Swept by the worst team in baseball and then whack Toronto, the best in MLB? Nice to see a couple of dingers finally from Gordo and Cain...
