Too young for Maverick,but grew up on this show.
Local station still plays it,but never understood how he could live in a trailer on a beach parking lot.

I guess he really wanted that ocean view. ...and cheap rent.
I liked both of those shows, and also his movies. Support Your Local Sheriff, and Support Your Local Gunfighter were his best ones.

Grand Prix won three Oscars. The photography was incredible for the day. It won for best sound, best editing, and best special effects back in the day, and truly was ahead of it's time.
It brought the high risks of racing, and national pride to the masses. There have been loads of racing movies since....but they're not Grand Prix.

He was the scrounger on the Great Escape. Ended up flying with the blind engraver. Born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma. First starring role was in Darby's Rangers.
