One of the twins is a hockey fan, and a big Stars fan (don't ask me).....she wants me to take her to the pre-season Bluoes/Stars game at the Sprint Center on the 27th.
How is that place to watch a game? Worth the trip? Anybody got a line of tickets?
That is all...for now.
Thanks.

Me neither. I will be on the other side of the state that weekend watching Halfies D2 get hitched.

Thanks - can you at least tell me how big of a pizzhole the Sprint Center is. Is it as bad as the last dump they played hockey in out there.....the cow palace or whatever the fork it was.

It is the anchor of the revitalized downtown power and light district. Nice venue if you like city Hu bubb....not the best area for the early teen life....bar and party district but the Sprint Center is nice. Lots of restaurants as well.
Just like anything downtown, parking is a big pain in the ass....but hey, your daughter wants to see the Stars....wait for it!

I have not been to any kind of event at the Sprint Center. I know folks who have attended basketball games there and said it is a pretty nice place. I think Wags has been there for events - ask him.

Wu - this is the twin that doesn't have a horse.....I'm not on speaking terms with her sister or their mother.

True story, Wu......about a month ago the Redhead's nag came down with colic...which apparently can kill them...who knew? He kept laying down and she had to go to the stables about 10'oclock and walk him all night long until the vet could get there. I felt bad for her. About 3 in the morning I called her and asked her if she was alright. I told her that if she got too tired she could call me.........and I'd come shoot that forker.

I know you wouldn't do it, but it's still funny to visualize.

Griff - Sprint Center is a real nice venue. Better than Savis IMO. Lots of places to eat and drink around there. Thought about going to the game, but pre-season hockey sounds lame.

Because it is lame. However, having raised 2 daughters, I would say it is one of the better things a father can get stuck doing with them, in their teenage years...
