With a couple of days reserved for THE WEDDING and the TWO DAGO tournament, I am now starting my FOOTS COUTDOWN...
21 more wakeups and trips up 270 to Fighterland..
my first Retirement goal is to spend an entire week splitting time between a duck blind and a deer stand...

Congrats on that. Be the best job you ever had. I retired 4 months ago and now kick my self for not doing it sooner.

A lot of the list is being worked off this Week...due to THE WEDDING...

In my first two weeks of being retired the boss tried to go through every item on a 200 page honey do. After that schedule control shifted to yours truly. Good luck

I made my last I270 run to Fighterland this morning.. by midday I will be unemployed and hanging out in BPS trying to spend a gift card I got before I do airport taxi duty for D2.
Paid for 3 kids to get through skool, (another still deciding on what school she can get her momma to pay for) and beer, bullets and bond money...
Could have been worse...could have been better.. a candid and abrasive personality isnt always appreciated! I can think (that I know of ) of 4 times higher-ups demanded that I be fired...
I do feel a small tingle of pride every time a Hornet or warthog smokes an ISIS sandcastle!

I remember heading out one weekday morning to photograph after I retired and looking up at 270 and seeing all the dead eyes staring straight ahead and thinking
