Apparently Picabo Street, the former Olympic skier, came into a lot of money because of her Olympic success. Being a warm hearted person, she decided to donate a significant portion to the hospital in her hometown. The hospital in turn used it to retrofit the Intensive Care Unit as it was in desperate need of being upgraded. So, in her honor, the Hospital Board re-named the new unit - PICABO, I.C.U.
