Man.....time doesn't march on, it runs.

I can't believe I saw a man that was 83 years old play baseball during his professional career. He was one of the greats of my youth, which was consumed with all things baseball.

RIP Ernie Banks!!

Goes to show even the cubs can get a thing or two right.

Great guy, great player. Those are always the real best and no doubt Earnie was the cubs best.

Which is like being the smartest kid in the dumb class or the tallest midget...

Never saw the guy play but by all accounts he was their version of Stan the Man. Not too many of those true all-stars and ambassadors left...
