2 The Royals #1 has thrown like #2 lately. I have a feeling that he'll be better by the end of the month. Wouldn't at all be surprised if he got skipped a turn in the rotation. The Reds did that a couple of times earlier this year and be came back better. I'll bet you right now that he'll win a game in the post season. On the other hand, Ventura has been lights out lately. He IS throwing like a #1 starter and has only given up two runs in his last three starts.

Somebody needs to kick Frank White back out!!
He was at his first game in years Tuesday night as one of the franchise four and is sitting behind the plate tonight. They lost Tuesday and looks like another loss coming tonight.
He got some bad voodoo!!
They Royals didn't treat him right but enough is enough!!

You are going to need it since the All Star Royals are 0 and 4 at Busch this year

The royals have to play teams with winning records to get to the WS to enjoy that advantage. They aren't liking playing teams like that. That amazing 1 RBI by The 50-11 KC players voted in was impressive.

Why? Are the Pirates renting Busch to use for their World Series stadium?

Well, I am beginning to be concerned about Cueto. He seems to be unable to get the ball down in his last four starts. Just maybe the Reds knew more about his arm than the Royals did. Doesn't look good to me.

I see Queto had another fine outing on Sunday.
8 runs. 11 hits. 4 HR..........I would post up his stats since he got To KC or just his last 5 games........but that's some higher math none of us can do

Royals are in 3rd place in our division, 2 in front of the cubs.
Oooops. Can I say that?

I found this number to be out of control. 9.57 Johnny Q's ERA in his last 5 starts. That's the type of stuff that gets you a AAA demotion.

Been a rough patch lately for the Royals.
J. Queto = no help lately. Starting pitching getting beat up early and regularly. Bull pen has finally started to look mortal. Hitting is sporadic and sketchy. All in all the last 10 games have been hard to take.
Sooner or later it happens to every team in the majors. Always has, always will. Just hoping to see the boys work through this sooner than later!

You got a 9 game lead with 19 to go in a weak division
are there any ledges over 20 feet in KC? LOL

Well that would be an even bigger collapse than Bubba's 2011 Braves 8 1/2 game epic failure with 25 left to play. If the Royals lose the Central.....Dabs and the rest of the bandwagon bunch will jump off, causing the bus to flip over.

I imagine it helps all you Redbird fans to concentrate on the Royals rather than pay attention to your rear view mirror and see what's coming up behind you..

Well folks, just as we hoped, tonight the Royals played a classic winning game. Defense was excellent, pitching was near flawless and a few timely hits and we have a another win.
Is that not 85 wins this year???? Timmie's in the drinks plus one.
Always fun to see who wins the bet. Thanks for the entertainment.
Go Royals!!

Tim
Actually it doesn't
Cardinal fans concerned--yeah but it appears we play in the toughest division and do not have the luxury of going 3 for 7 in our last 10 and still have a 9 game lead--
first real slump of the year for the boys from St Louis and it comes at a time when there ain't a lot of slack
From what I read about the Royal fans wringing their hands about going 3 and 7 in their last 10 with a 9 game lead in their division--
I would hate to see what they would do if they played in the NL Central...
but then they would be behind the Pirates
(and the Cardinals as well)
Just sayin
and congrats on the booze bet
