KC and Toronto tied for best record in AL now. The only thing I don't like is playing them in that little band box stadium up there. I'd like to see them playing Texas or Houston first. Course if KC's pitching or hitting doesn't come around it won't really matter.

I'm bringing Don Dinkinger out of retirement for StL's first game just for grins.

Since you are bringing folks out of retirement.......you might call George Brett & Saberhagen. From what I've seen, you need more help that a bad umpire. Hell.........dig up Dan Quisenberry. His arm might help you more than some of the folks yall have in the bullpen.

Meanwhile...you might want to go have a meeting with Rosenpuke about his implosion and Mathenys managing.

Statistically speaking....they sucked boner

I love it when a plan comes together. Take your meds and have some down time.

Your division has three good teams in it. Hopefully, KC will get together with one of them in the playoffs. Nothing is guaranteed in a short series. Players get hurt, pitching falters, etc., etc.

I'll be happy to ship Rosenthal your direction. Have never been a big fan. Even with the blow up the last couple games his ERA in the BIG BOY League would still be 1/2 the ERA the Royals current closer has.

As far as Matheny is concerned, I'll let him do his thing. 4th year as a manager....4th year in the playoffs. 1st year, one game away from the WS. 2nd season 97 wins and a trip to the WS. Last year, another trip to the NLCS.......on the verge of his 3rd straight NL Central title, with the best record in baseball.........Nah, I won't second guess him. 3 Central titles would equal what the Royals have done in 31 years. The last time the Royals won 3 straight was the 70's and you ran off the Manager that did. AND we THANK YOU for doing so. Your loss is a fan favorite in STL.

Well....the Boys in Blue have finished strong this week and with the help of the Rays last night getting the walk-off against the Jays home field throughout is in the Royals hands today....a win and they have ALCS home field....a loss by the Jays today would give Royals the home field regardless of what the Royals do today.

Happy Post Season Royals fans!

An excellent regular season for the Boys in Blue. Unfortunately that does not guarantee any playoff success. I am glad to see them kick it in gear for the last week of the season.

Who would you rather see win the Wild Card, New York or Houston?

I think I would prefer an ALDS against the Yankees.

Hey stats boy better check your numbers!
Our closer's name is Wade Davis and his ERA is 0.94 which is less than half of what Rosenthal's 2.10 ERA is.. just saying..

Absolutely I'd rather see the Spankees! Other than the back of their bullpen, I ain't skeert!

The Astros are young, have power AND speed and have two top of the rotation guys. They are going to be real tough in years to come..

Jesus that must be exciting. Just the wait alone must be excruciating.......but then, 8 glorious minutes a game makes up for all of it.

Wait, it might go up to 12. Do they let him run the bases?

Yes......yes he is.

The Royals #1 has thrown like #2 lately. I have a feeling that he'll be better by the end of the month. Wouldn't at all be surprised if he got skipped a turn in the rotation. The Reds did that a couple of times earlier this year and be came back better. I'll bet you right now that he'll win a game in the post season.

Good thing you didn't bet that Booze you won. It's not looking good.

Maybe you didn't read the post either. You and LS have the same problem. Queto didn't win the game. He was in his normal ACE Royals pitching form though. Yall needed that one. Facing a guy in Houston that is 15-0 at home down 2-0 is something yall could afford to do. Good thing their bullpen pulled a Queto for yall.

I'd pitch to Rasmus some more also while yall are at it

Maybe you didn't understand my post....I was referring to you back on que...not Johnny C

We will see what happens Sunday...we beat him on the road earlier in the year but I am sure Houston will make everything of home field they can.

I did see Pham hit that shot for an insurance run

Holliday had the game winner in the 1st. You know the guy who's hurt apat as much as Gordon

Even factoring in that Gordon only played in 73 games this year, he is still averaging 15+ more games per season in the last five seasons than Holliday.. just saying..

That's because Holliday is like 56 years old and needs some Days off. I'll have to fact check your figures, when I give a fork
