Maybe one day your team will be able to get out of the NLDS again....until then keep rooting for them like you do the Blues!

100 wins really doesn't matter if you don't go anywhere from there.

Not deep enough.......we plugged more holes in the lineup than the Titanic had, and still had the BEST record in all of baseball. Had the Royals played in the Big Boy Division, yall wouldn't even made the playoffs. You are acting like the Royals lost 1/2 the team, from one hard slide and a couple foul balls of a mask....when dude led the league by 10 games in total games caught for the year. Take Hosmer out for 1/2 the season, leave Gordon out another month, sit Cain for 1/2 the year, and put Volquez on the bench all year. Then come playoff time, sit Ventura with an injury. Yall wouldn't have finished above .500 on the season, and they wheels on that bandwagon would have come right the fork off.

The Royals were so deep they had to piss away 3 Left Handed pitchers for a dude who gave up runs like he was getting paid for them. After all, who the hell needs the 17th overall pitcher in the draft, a 2nd round dude, and another lefty that throws in the upper 90's......no one like lefties who can throw 95+ 2 More pitchers got traded for Zobrist, which included another great lefty, 34th overall pick. I guess the Royals are pitching rich in the minors. After all, their starting pitching ERA was over 4.00 on the year, so they gotta be real deep

And for two years in a row we made it out of the division series to at least the championship series.....which the Cardinals didn't.

Keep playing any statistic angle you want to.....we are playing post season baseball on the West side still while the Cardinals are going on field trips with their kids schools......but hey, they won 5 more games in the regular season than the Royals......nice job Kaytlin

Next year the Cards will be in the playoffs, for the 6th straight season. 4 trips in the past 12 seasons to the World Series. It was 29 long frustrating years between the Royals WS apperances. You act like its a regular thing for KC......I know, I know.....2 straight ALCS runs, and maybe 2 straight WS trips. New Money acts like its routine. Get back to me when you make the ALCS 4 straight trips.

Speaking of next years chances......... Your #1 starter will be in free agency, your closer won't be pitching all year due to Tommy John Surgery, A starter won't be back from Tommy John either, Gordon is GONE, Rios will be released Zobrist might stay but don't bet the house on it.

$72 million in commitments, and 7 players in Arbitration....which will put yall close to $100 million on payroll without two outfielders, short a reliever, & missing a couple starters minimum. $100 million payroll and 9 players short of a full team. $113 million dollar payroll on opening day this year. Mr. Wal-Mart won't be spending big money or much of that playoff money they just made on big contracts, so where does one get 9 good players for $13-20 million. Those owners aren't going much higher than $120 million for next year. You just traded your 2 best pitching prospects. Your best OF prospects were in Single A this season.

I guess we get to see how deep the Royals are and how creative they get with so many players gone from this year to the 2016 season.

You are correct...we didn't do it 2 years in a row like the Royals. We did it the Cardinal Way and made it there 4 straight years.

The Royals remind me of Kayne. I'm the greatest ever.

I realize you are new to this baseball thing.....considering you are busy counting preseason wins and postseason wins in the yearly total......but baseball IS A STATISTICAL GAME. ALWAYS HAS BEEN. ALWAYS WILL BE. If you can't handle the stats, jump back off your bandwagon. It will make the True Royals fan happy, they can buy cheap gear in October next year.

Lmao....yes...the Cardinals are a better team the last two years because statistically over the last 20 years they have done better.

Last year - Royals made it to the World Series...and did not play the Cardinals

This year the Royals are up 3-2 with two games left at home to squeeze out one more win in the ALCS to go back to back World Series appearances - the Cardinals did not make it out of their Divisional series...with a payroll of 10 million plus dollars more than the Royals.

I am trying to agree with you in the fact the Cardinals are a good team...but "The Cardinal Way" fans can't let it be that they are not on top now.

Question....2 years from now would you rather the Cardinals be known as the 2015 World Series Champions...or the team that won their division with 100 win season and lost in NLDS series? That's what I thought.

Two years from now, I'll most likely still be watching the Cardinals play in October, while Mr. Wal-Mart is busy figuring out the layaway plan for 2018.

Crow on Rooster, Crown on. Unlike Old money, new money is too busy thinking they are the only one with money...and when the magic runs out, are busy figuring out how they get to be new money again.

The only thing I researched was one minute worth of salary...the rest was from memory being it was all in the last year or so.

Don't forget to watch the game Friday night.

Royals might be squeezing the bats a little tight Friday. A ton of pressure to not blow a 3-1 series lead. Can Ventura get the job done? Will Price finally find his post-season groove for the Jays? The dude is a top tier pitcher but has been struggling in the post seasons... Could be a little wet as well...

Should the Jays pull off a win, it appears the Royals will have to put all of their hope in Johnny Cueto, for Game 7. Not sure there is a person in all of KC that feels all warm and fuzzy about that...

The lack of class wasn't on the part of The Jays, but by the idiots in the grandstands dumping their $12.00 beers on the field.

But, what do I know? I just got home Wednesday from working at The Restore, turned on the game, and a fight broke out. Best 7th inning ever.

Good luck to your team, dabs.

I stayed up late last night watching my Dodgers lose last night, Mattingly should be gone.

Singing: Jose, Jose, Jose, Jose!

Mattingly gone. Boom.

Was there a game?

I have been busy, as we've had a coup.

And y'all scoffed at me for investing in California, when I did. When our dollars were at par, I told you I had a small window to get things done. Now our dollar is worth 76 cents.
