ARZ is pretty solid. I see em putting at least 30+ on the Rams.
If we follow the trend, the Rams Defense shows up every other game. This would be a non-defense week. 30+ is a very real possibility. Of course the offense shows up every week but just isn't very good. I really can't see them scoring more than 10...
But hey, they play the games for a reason. On any given Sunday... Right?

Well boys you bet against a good D and you lost. I can forgive Haus, but in general Sportsmn, you should know this team plays division foes different than others. After all, it's one of Fishers great qualities. bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I have gambled a total of about $200 in my whole life and this is why...
You have to tip your hat to them. Maybe, just maybe the days are coming when this team can show up for all of the games...

Thanks Dad!
Totally surprised by the outcome and impressed. They need to string it all together now, a week at a time.
I still want to see the football Cardinals back in STL..

"string it together" has been there biggest problem of all.
Road trip to Lambeau Field next week then the Bye so I imagine they are going to have a very tough time up there.
After the bye, the schedule gets a lot more reasonable if these forkers can manage to play at their best each week.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, we've got to get past Arizona first.
Look, I think the Lambs have a shot at Arizona if Gurley shows the promise that he did before his injury. If Gurley runs wild, call it St. Louis 24-22. If he's still not up to speed, it's going to be along day for the Rams Offense and they will likely go down by a couple of touchdowns.

Peacock and Blitz land Jack Taylors National Car Rental for a 160 million dollar naming rights deal on the new stadium .
On the eve of the owners meeting in NY today.
What these guys have accomplished in the last year is totally unreal. I have never seen anything like it in this town before. The unachievable is one big step away from being achieved.
I believe the guy with the bad wig is officially squirming in his seat this morning. I am not saying anything is a done deal but man has the landscape changed since the Inglewood Stadium was proposed by d1ckhead back in January.
I know to follow this ain't every body's cup of tea but it's been one crazy ride between the 3 teams and the 4 cities. The nfl has a big mess on their hands and we all know they are quite capable of forking up a wet dream.

I have to agree with your assessment of what they have accomplished in the last year or so. It has been impressive. I just can't mentally get over one thing: Guys worth $7+ billion almost always get their way. Even if the NFL does not approve the move, I can see him pulling an Al Davis and just moving the team and saying, "See ya in court..." The more likely scenario is he tells them this in advance and they pull whatever shenanigans they need to make it happen and stay out of court (where they lose either way).
I am leaning towards something going down that nobody predicts or sees happening. I can see the Taylors ending up as NFL owners somehow, someway... I can see Kroenke in LA with a team and ST. Louis with a team. I can also see this whole thing getting tabled for another year. Who knows?

If you two boneheads think what has happened in the last year is impressive, wait until you see what I predict will happen by the end of the day today.
I predict National Car Rental will ink a deal to own the naming rights to the new stadium. I'm guessing it will be in the ballpark ( that's a little Tues morning humor for you two bastards while you sit around waiting for me to tell you what will happen) of 160 million.

Well it's been 10 months of unpredictable so no reason to expect anything different when the dust settles.
The last real barrier I can see is the Board of alderman vote. If those goofs don't sign off on this deal there is no hope for this city. A 1 billion dollar project the city gets for 15 cents on the dollar, and most all of that 15 cents is paid by out of towners via hotel and car rental taxes.
Shad Kahn with a tweet yesterday: "Maybe there's a plan C we should consider....."
I don't think Taylor is on the potential owner list but if you are worth 15 billion he's not off any list for any thing.
Peacock is said to have 2 owner groups somewhat positioned if in fact d1ckhead wants to bail.
As for d1ckheads wealth and power, it's real for sure, but he's in a group of fellow egomaniacs who just might have their own ideas. No one likes him other than the clown in Texas. He's basically been estranged from league stuff like he is with everything else in his life. Spanos is liked and apparently, Spanos cannot stand the mf'er.
Who knows. I just know how far this little 'ol town has come to counter d1ckhead and Tinsel Town. It is dam impressive.

I'd say normally it's hard to separate the wheat from the chafe as far as what went down yesterday with the offense of this team but not true. Todd Gurley was the only piece of wheat in that pile yesterday. And that includes this coaching staff, maybe the worst day I've seen from Jeff & Company.
The Pack is a very good team and they got it done with their defense, pretty much a twist for them.
It's a bye week so I'm kinda itchy. Barring big injuries, and in spite of it all, Rams will go 9-7 on the year at worst and the playoffs might be in reach.
So I need 7-4 to finish up. Piece of cake.

Don't get to watch a lot of games, eh?
This has been about par for the course since he's been here. A few things you can count on with a Rams team under Fisher: Plenty of penalties but not just run-of-the-mill penalties. No, his teams take them at the worst possible times. We're talking drive-killing, red zone, opponent-assisting blunders that help in their self destruction.
Inconsistent play from this supposedly "great" defense. Consistently lead the league in giving up big plays (most plays given up of 30 yards or more). Great run defense one week and apparent inability to stop some no-name, rookie RB the next.
No consistent offensive threat to speak of and mostly bad offensive game plans and play calling. Of course you can't expect an O-Coordinator to craft a Patriots'-like offense with almost no talent on that side of the ball.
I would love nothing more than to jump back on the Rams bandwagon but really see little hope of this team going much more than .500. And if they do squeak into the playoffs, do they have the sort of offense that can even win a game against another playoff team?

The win in the desert was pretty dang impressive both sides of the ball.
The D performance yesterday was pretty much outstanding.
The pieces are there and as you say so are all the haunts.
They either get past the let downs or they don't. I do think they have a shot to get a LOT better with this D (It's good for real) and now Gurley, 300 yards rushing against 2 good teams.
We'll see. The schedule is better on out.

The schedule is in their favor the rest of the way. If they get any sort of an offensive effort they could go 9-7 or even 10-6. But Fisher does not seem to be able to put it all together. The biggest thorn in my side it the damn penalties. I saw some stats that show some really good teams with plenty of penalties. But those teams have the ability to overcome them. The Rams have no room for error and keep making errors. At some point, you would think Fisher would crack down on that. How in the fork does and O-lineman get a false start penalty in the redzone, AT HOME!?!?!?!? HE KNOWS THE FORKIN' SNAP COUNT!!!!
I feel very confident they won't lose this week. Bank on it...

If the Rams lose this game, pack it in... The Browns are 32nd in run defense and the Rams O-line has actually shown some signs of gelling and being able to run block. They should run for over 200 yards and control the game. On the other side of the ball, the Browns O-line should not be able to stop the Rams pass rush. If they can't get at least 4 or 5 sacks, it will be a huge disappointment.
A loss puts them at 2-4 and gives little hope that any Fisher team can be counted on to show up for games they should win. On the other hand, a win puts them at 3-3, with some very winnable games in front on them...
So, to quote Meatloaf, "What's it gonna be boy...?"
