Commission meeting Friday. Will all those meetings be a dog and pony show or will they vote for change?

Been wanting to eliminate the zones and go with a split season for years. I see no hope of it this time around as well. The pinheads that make these decisions are, well, pinheads. I am guessing very few if them even hunt and will base their decision on some study they read or some theory their biologist hero authored...
It really is time to eliminate the 1/8 cent tax funding of this arrogant, bloated, unaccountable organization. Put the funding back in the hands of the legislature and make them answer to some entity on a yearly basis.

Well good thing I don't hunt Koolaid stands. Floods.......a man would have to be a moron to not be duck hunting during a flood
I guess I'll have to take up duck hunting in MOMO again with the new project 45 min from 4Rivers. Being on JOCO "HomeofToto" is trying on my patience though.

There are very few areas a man can go hunt in MOMO, have a good hunt, and not stand in a line......and I'm talking about oublic hunting.
Sure you don't need a flood for great duck hunting. Some people just turn on a tractor to pump or lip a switch for their electric pump

North zone opens the first Saturday in November. Middle zone opens the Saturday closest to Nov 6.........so for several years both zones open the same weekend, if I read their propaganda right. Then he middle has a 5 day split. So at end of the day, you get 5 extra days in January than now. Why even change chit. Open it the second weekend of November and have your 5 day split somewhere. Hell close it on Christmas Day also. There aren't many people who duck hunt that day. They do it in Arkansas, and it didn't start a war down there. It's one extra day on January to hunt
Once again MDC has a chit show. Good thing I have a year license in OK, TX, and KS already. Fuk MDC

A simple clause saying if the North zone falls on the weekend closest to the 6th, the Middle zone will open the consecutive Saturday. No one said they do much thinking in the Ivory Towers.

I will have to read more in depth but according to my understanding of the federal guidelines, that can't be. If the state is split into zones, you can't have split dates (where the season closes for a period of time and reopens). It is either zones or split dates. Unless that has changed at the federal level...

The Feds changed that and are allowing splits and zones both now
