In spite of ho hum play by Allen who continues to give up goals that don't belong.
Maybe Petros best game ever. And Dunn too. Anybody notice who's not on the blue line these days???
Blues 5th of the five teams going after 2 spots. To have a prayer, the tending has to be better. Like, a lot better.

Just not an Allen fan Eddie. He played great in the Fall and then fell down. The last two games he was his average self, letting in 2-3 bad goals. This, on a team having trouble scoring.
Last 3 games he has allowed 10 goals and that's without having a ton of shots taken against him. Heck he's been a big problem 2/3rds of the season now.
Not good enough.
Husso, the rookie, is back-up right now. He looks like he's 12 years old and it might be crazy to throw him in for Boston but I'd be tempted. He has played very well of late in the AHL. But I seriously doubt Yeo or DA are going to do that.
Hope Hutton is coming back soon. But for whatever reason Yeo and DA have been Jakes biggest fans and unfortunately my gut says we are stuck with him. He's a goof, he could get hot as a firecracker, but he better giddy up if he wants it to count.
Boston's one of the leagues hottest and best. Gonna be a tough 2 points to get.

Those are the 2 toughest they face here on out. I'd take 2 out of those 4 right now.
They'd have 10 points to still go after, and three wins would get them to 97 pts.
It's actually a crazy close to the season in the West.
If Allen keeps it up, they are as good a chance as the other 4 to get in.

Three games to go.
Not sure if they need to win two or maybe all three.
Two against the arch rival Blackhawks. The last, a potential major showdown in the Rockies on a back to back.
Win or lose, I am at ease. Eerily at ease. Love the game, love the Blues, but this team has for now brought me to the point of believing only what I actually see.
Go Blue. Show me what ya got and I'll tell you what I think.
