I still can't believe that mf'er signed Allen a year before he had to.
And Stillman should have waited too. He took the cheese and signed DA before the year played out.
Keep in mind, both of those premature signings were for a franchise that had repeatedly done what they just did again.

Anymore, this is the only hockey that's worth a fork to watch. The NHL has managed to fork up the regular season so bad, it's painful to watch. The scheduling must be done by some of the NHL executives, grade school-age kids or grandkids. And the regular season officiating on and off the ice would have to improve to rise to the level of just bad. It is just horrific...
Why the fork can't they officiate the regular season like the playoffs? Watching playoff games is the way hockey is supposed to be played. Fork all of those ticky-tacky penalties and the idiotic calls from 100 feet away by the ref across the ice. Let s the boys play and sort it out themselves.
Too bad the Blues aren't in it. This is Berglund's time to shine with all that hard-nosed play in front of the net and grinding in the corners and along the boards... Oh, wait... Never mind.

West I go anybody but Turdville. Vegas or the Jets I can deal with. I know, 2 more teams who would get it first before the Blues but it is what it is.
I like Toronto or Tampa in the East. Toronto would go beserk if they could pull it off but Tampa, Pitt and Boston will be formidable opposition to get through.
If it's April, it's hockey.
On a sad note, hard not to think of that tragedy up in Saskatoon. 16 kids and all that pain. Dang.

I think I'm gonna go with Boston...they lit it up better than any team in the 2nd half. I'd like to see the Bruins and Preds in the final....and I'd like to see Boston kick their arse. Anybody but the Penguins....I still hate them from back in the today and I always will.
And yeah....the bus crash....geez. My kid is on a team bus every single weekend traveling the country.....there are no words for something that tragic. I can't even imagine that pain.

As for Toronto, I never PREDICTED dude. I said I liked them as a team and see the city as a true hockey town unsurpassed by any other.....didn't say they were a power house that should win it all. It may not be this year, but they have some good chit goin on there.

Let me reiterate.....the Blouse SUCK and will not make the playoffs, Babcock SUCKS and the Leafs won't beat Boston, and Boston is a force right now. I'd like to see Backes carrying the cup and I think he may finally get there since he shed the note.
