I've seen the worst stretch of Cardinal baseball in their history, in the 70's, and I never walked away. I went to 40 games a year back then, sat behind Lou Brock in left center bleachers every game. I think it's going to be interesting to see what they can do. They have made some smart moves, Bishop has to stay healthy and play well for them to make a run at the division.
Central is going to be murder to play in.

Parayko on board for 5 years with a pretty fair contract.
I'm glad they got him, he has an upside that is rather considerable and as far as Army deals go this looks to be one of the better ones.

This is a great deal for the Blues and not too shabby for Parayko... 
Just one more solid move by Army to shore up this roster. Lots of reasons to be excited bout this coming year. I predict a first or second place finish in the Division and a top 5 finish in the Western Conf, followed by a deep playoff run.
Looking at this roster and coaching staff, I don't see the slackers being able to get away with it anymore. I can only imagine what Ott will be saying to a player after a mediocre effort on a shift or between periods or after a game. Hopefully, a few players will step up as leaders and hold their teammates accountable as well. If will be a much more realistic task with Berglund out for at least a few months...

What.......y'all gonna put 387 asses in the seats each night???? Y'all can't fill up the Royals ballpark with a playoff team. What are y'all gonna do with a team who makes this playoff every year, but doesn't do anything once they get there........you know, much like the Sqauws.
