Yes, and the line to get into a Yankees or Mets game should extend past Philadelphia.
The Cardinals attendance, by any measure, is impressive.....when you consider the gauntlet of gunfire in the nation's deadliest city it's beyond impressive.
Do NOT, by any measure, try to say that the Royals games are well attended......that's just laughable.

Dude - where else can you go and be sitting in the stands at a MLB game and get hit by stray gunfire from OUTSIDE the stadium. We own it.

The Cards are only trailing the LA Dodgers in attendance for the entire league. 43,000 asses a night on average. The LA market is waaaaaaaaay bigger than the STL market last I checked.......2.7 million vs 2.4 million
Fans this season so far.
Our mid America market has put more asses in seats than NY, Philly, Miami, DC area, San Fran, DFW, Houston, the other Cali teams. . fork with those population centers they should be killing our attendance nightly.

Look here - I know you San Louianians think you have everything the best...and the worst and use it to your advantage.....but Joe Chit the Ragman was bustin caps in Royals fans well before it was cool to do so...back in 2000.

I guess that shows how shitty the fan base is. The only team in the state over .500, currently in the playoffs, and fighting for a division title.........with 25,000 on average showing up. 21,000 During the week.
I guess the wheels haven't been put back on the bus yet. Come late September of a playoff run is likely, Homer Yost will cry, fans will show up in New Money gear claiming how loyal and great the fan base is, bitching how the Eastsider fans are called the best fans in baseball.........when clearly 38,000 people showed up in KC for some playoff baseball. Then we can listen to Homer dipshits claiming how proud of their city and baseball team.

1 Game difference can be huge. Just ask Bubba's 2011 Braves what 1 game meant. 1 game decides plenty of things.
Don't get to confused,no mention of regular season, total year?

MLB has played a 162 game season..........since 1962. It has never had a 180 game season. You mentioned the 180 game span, not me. If you are counting the playoff like you Weatsiders typically do in win totals......it would be 182 games. In that case, a ONE GAME difference would be a big Forking deal. Game 182 would take home the WS Trophy........so once again you're thinking is wrong. Game 182, just one damn game is the most important of the season.
Just sayin

Mac feel free to Google whatever your heart desires
You will find estimates for KC from 2.34 million to over 2.4 million depending on what is considered the Metropolitan Statistical Area
The point is that there is not that big a population difference any more--
in fact KC is one of the fastest growing places in Missouri even if they don't go to the ball park to support a team making a move to get in the playoffs.
As for talking out of your ass.......
I guess the question Dawg would ask is
Are your lips moving??
