Come to think of it, Blues management and typical playoff roll over and die fit the KC mantra. Take them.
Carry on.
I didn't make the snow ball. I just threw it.
But I knew I could count on you being the attendance camp director.
I don't give a chit if they stay or leave St. Louis....but the plane ain't really cooled off from the Ram departure and they could be warming it up again

Yeah, the Blouse is going to leave St. Louis for KC and the NHL is gonna sign off on it......yeah, that's gonna happen.
That West side crack is powerful stuff.

I don't normally come to his defense cause Lord knows he can handle that himself , but I truly do not believe Dog had anything to do with the move.

Man was he cheered on ice.
Used to see him and chat with him at his bar in Cuba, Mo after his playing days. Heck of a nice guy.
RIP Noel.

Somewhere at my parents house there is a piece of a cast from a broken arm I got playing street hockey when I was 10 or so. It's signed by Picard, Gary Sabourin, and Bob Plager. If you were a Blues fan when they first came here then you were a Picard fan. He was a fearsome defenseman.
Some of the funniest moments on hockey radio came when he came back to the Blues as an announcer after his career ended. He could barely speak English and it was hysterical.
Lots of people don't remember that what ended his career was an accident when a horse fell on his leg, basically shattering it to the point where multiple bones stuck through his boot. It was called a career ending injury by every doctor who saw him, but he actually came back and played, although for only a very short time due to loss of mobility....a truly tough guy, like most hockey players in that day.
RIP Mr. Picard.

He was one of many characters the NHL and all pro sports had back in the day. Thanks to social media and political correctness run amok, we'll never see characters like him again. Pro athletes have to measure every word they utter and be oh so careful in everything they do... NP was an open book for all to see. I met him a few times but never really talked to him or knew him. But like griff said, if you were a Blues fan, you were a Picard fan.
I sure hope the Blues do at least a little something to remember him...
RIP

Welp, it starts tonight... sort of. Preseason game #1 starts in Dallas. Remember it, because this is the start of something special. A season that will undoubtedly end with a deep playoff run. A season that might just end with Lord Stanley's Cup being hoisted by this town's newest hero, Vlad Tarasenko. And the best news Blues fans could hope for came true. Berglund is injured and won't play with the team for some time...
What a great time to be a Blues fan!! Unless you're griffin, doing your best impersonation of Walt Kowalski.
Go Blue...

Steen, Jbo and Berglund out.
Not sure we can set things up any better than that.

Just drop the puck, time to get this party started!
Hey bubba, should we do a game day thread tonight so you can help us cheer them on?

I haven't really decided if I'm going to follow this year or not. I gave up my seats, and I don't feel any kind of excitement about the coming season. Plenty of teams look like they got better over the summer with some free agent signings, etc......but the Blouse seems to have basically stood still. I just can't generate much interest in it yet.
I agree the injuries hold some promise....and that pretty much sums up where this team is.

May have laughed but I wasn't joking either.
Get Bias, Thompson, Walman and others up here and give them their shot.
For the life of me, I hope Yeo is not stuck on names. I don't think he is I think he'll play who he thinks will help the team most, vet or not.
Blues are outside looking in as I see it to start. I may not love all 20, but I like a lot of this team. We'll see where it goes from here.

Now they have one of my all-time favorite players in the fold. They just hired Larry Robinson. Too good to be true!!

I've always been a Robinson fan.....and if he was still playing it would truly be too good to be true. Now he's a "consultant"......I guess like the goalie consultants the Blouse has had over the years. That certainly turned out to be a great thing.
Blouse finishes third, out by second round of playoffs. I can hardly wait.

I'm a Blues fan. As usual, more questions than answers.
You must be drunk. I'll take 3rd central and playoffs right now. And here I thought you were off the wagon. bwaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Of course you wold, because that's what you get year after year and you're happy with it. You forgot about the early playoff exit, because you get that year after year and support it too.
I don't see any looming new bright spots outside of #61.
