Other than the Stro's, this is like trying to figure out who your favorite Olsen twin is.
If the Stro's go out, so do I.

Other than the luck and calls constantly thrown Maddons way, I'm not seeing the cubs the better ball club between those two.
Houston bullpen is suspect, but man they got some horses down there.

Genius.........that 4 eyed beardedtaco is far from a genius. I enjoyed his early departure In game 1. I bet Lackey is Still punching walls in the Hotel and kicking puppies after serving up that dinger. I hate the Dodgers, yet finding myself cheering for them to sweep Shitcago.

Perfect scenario for me: Dodgers beat Cubs soundly. Astros beat Yankees soundly. Astros beat Dodger for WS win.
However, if I were putting money on it, I'd place my chips on the Dodgers to win it all...

Roberts "plan" pretty much fell apart. And tagging Jansen was huge.
Stro's need to run with it after that upset last night. Hopefully they found a closer for the series too.

Never been a fan of taking a good pitcher out of the game too early and relying on a half dozen guys to all have a good night to keep you in a game. I realize the hook has to be a little quicker in the playoffs and WS but dayum, Hill should have been left to go a few more innings, unless they tagged him for a few... That leaves you with two or three relievers that have to perform well, not 6 or more. Much better odds. And of course sometimes no matter what you do the pitchers cough up long balls...
In my perfect scenario, Kershaw pitches gems and the Dodgers lose in 6 or 7. I like him... Not a fan of LA succeeding in anything, in any sport. Also like the Astros...

Kershaw's a good dude. And perhaps baseballs best pitcher over the last 5 years. He needs to prove himself in the playoffs and he finally has a belatedly good start to do so.
Love to see Puig blow gaskets. Hilarious.
Fork the 225 million dollar Dodgers. Go Stro's!

After that game two come back win, Stro's need to bury these guys at home.
Game three a good start, now finish it!

All in all a great series. Stro's offense carried a shaky bullpen and the good guys won.
Lot's of questions for Dave Roberts in the months ahead.

Only by idiots that have perfect 20/20, hindsight-vision.
Dave Roberts didn't make an error and allow a player to steal 3rd, uncontested, that allowed 2 runs in the first, last night. Dave Roberts didn't cough up long balls and hits in Game 5. Dave Roberts followed a formula that worked 95% of the time and he had a few players that simply didn't perform when they needed to. And let's not forget the Astros are a pretty good team that played pretty darn well. Nitpicking DR's moves would be pretty crappy by any real Dodgers fan...

Well, you should like MM then, because leaving Darvish in AGAIN for 5 runs in the first of a game 7 series is ludicrous, and precisely what MM would have done. Darvish should have been down at Mario's last night instead, serving up thoses meat balls. And that 2 run error of his, oh my.....it was like a neon sign on his head saying saying " take me out coach". bwaaaaaaa
Hindsight? I saw that disaster coming from 2,000 miles away.

Well, you got the idiot part down. The error was a a throwing error on Bellinger. The ball was thrown 2' behind Darvish. Randy Johnson isn't tall enough to catch that ball... Did you even watch the game?
Guess what these numbers are: .222 .222 .160 .143 .148? I'll save you the look-up. Those are the batting averages of the top 5 hitters in the Dodgers line-up. I suppose that's DR's fault as well. And guess what this is, 1-6-1? That's the line from the box score. One run, six hits, one (very costly) error.
The pitcher laid an egg, the batters didn't score and they picked a terrible time to make an error. Yep, DR's got some explaining to do...
Pinning this WS loss on Roberts is idiotic. The players simply didn't get it done, period!!

I'm not "pinning the loss" on Roberts. Pretty much gave Houston 100% credit for their win. There's that. I am saying Darvish didn't have it like his first outing where he didn't get past the second inning and should have been pulled in a game 7. You know, "all hands on deck", "there is no tomorrow" is supposed to mean something and went right out the window.
