I figured with all the excitement in the air in the 2018 season, a hot start out of the gate,  , and a fan base that is beyond compare to any other in Baseball...............a 2018 Toyals thread should be started. I guess the bandwagon done had the wheels fa off it, it crashed off a ravine, and burnt. Spring training is over and a nearly a month into the season without a post. Hell 5+ months of the offseason without a post.
When do the $5 Friday night tickets, quarter beer, and 50 cent nacho nights start????? Asking for a friend. I haven’t seen much Royals gear around either. I guess it’s all in the back of the closet, with all the gay people, for another 27 years.

Don't know about their money supply but they sold all that young pitching, lost some talent to free agency and the talent they still have only 4 position players are hitting above .260 and one of those is on the IR.
As much as I like Jon Jay from his Cardinal days-- it says something that he is on their roster instead of playing golf or working as an 'analyst' on some local sports channel.

So much for keeping up with Old Money. The trick is to get there and stay there or stay competitive year after year. I guess they weren't deep enough to do it. I guess its tougher than it really looks.

Traded most of our young talent like Wu said to make our 14/15 runs. This Spring, what young talent we did have proved to be unready for the big leagues, so they had to rush to sign a bunch of almost over the hill free agents. Not going to be pretty here in KC for awhile.
But hey, at lest we have a decent soccer team....

Well actually since MLS started, "HomeofToto" City has won the title twice..

Good Lord....the Royals and Soccer in the same thread.....if we can hit the whole thing with a golf club hung out the window of a car in a nascar race we can just let this thread be home to all worthless things and close down a couple of forums.

I'm just happy there is some traction with a Royals thread. I figured that bandwagon burnt and was no longer gonna be talked about.......although we are talking about soccer, golf, and the Royals.....so the whole damn thing is worthless. New Money done went bankrupt.
