I never said that.
If I did, I would agree with it.
When healthy, they have 4 good lines that can run with anyone. I did say that. And even with 2 key injuries, they ran with one of the best today.
It's YOU who said this team isn't tough enough. This team has no character.
It's me who said they need a second scoring line.
We'll see how this plays out when healthy.
As I note you complaining about scoring now.

Dude - you look at each individual game and decide how this team is going. Overall, they are going nowhere past MAYBE one round of the playoffs if Binnington stays hot.....after that, no, they are not tough enough for playoff hockey.
Maybe they can bring Perron back to skate around and wave at the other team.

Perron now has the 5th or 6th longest consecutive point streak in Blues history. He was strong in both the Pens and Sabers games. If you get time, actually watch a game and forget what you saw of a young Perron 10 years ago. Like you, I was glad to see him go when he left the Blues. But this is clearly a better, stronger, tougher version of him. He all but carried this team with O'Reilly for the first 3+ months of the season...
You want to talk about problems with this team and toughness, there is plenty to talk about before you get to Perron (like Petro, Schwartz, Steen, Fabbri, etc...) Unless you want to discuss the concussions and his missing games. But it sounds like you think the Blues are better off with him out of the line-up.

I watch every game.....and I watched the Blues thrive with that forker sitting on the bench where he needs to be. I watched him lay down, as usual, when the Knights were in the playoffs last year.
He's wildly talented, and scared of his own shadow. I just see a guy who has learned to use his stick and puck talents.....but that's it.
He won't be back next year if they keep Berube....watch and see.

Yes he's so scared of his own shadow he continues to play a game that threatens his very future. And I'm not talking about a new set of teeth.
But just not tough enough.
Jeeezuz dude look around the league. It takes all kinds to make a team a Cup winner. Skilled players are every where, and I know it isn't a very good neanderthal way to run a team but the Blues can afford to carry some of that.
He's always been a bad play off performer. He's always been a knucklehead with offensive zone penalties. Far from perfect dude. We get that. Right now he balances the lines being back, making more than just himself better. And he scores points. Badly needed points. You know, take the good and take the bad, but always take the points when in doubt.
This might be 57's last year on skates. Looks like maybe one less guy will be on your lawn.

That guy will never be a part of a program that wins anything at the NHL level. Period. You might think you need a guy like that on your team, I don't. Him and Steen should both be sitting.....along with Bouwmeester....who apparently becomes paralyzed and can't move his feet after 20 seconds on a shift.

88? 90? 92? What's your best guess? I'll expect Griffin to give his professional prediction on Saturday evening 4/6 and I bet it'll be spot on!

He plays first team PK, ranked in top of league.
Scott Stevens said he's playing great hockey since he has recovered from his injury.
Gotta say, I am shocked.

I just watch the games.
Yeah, he's old. With a bad hip too. Never been good? 15 years in the league. I'm sure that keeps him still on the lawn though. Played Canada's Olympic team in '14 and World Cup in '16. In case you don't know, being a top 6 defense man in all of Canada actually means something.
And Oh, if it ever comes down to grumpy stubborn get off my lawn guy versus a Scott Stevens or the coaches of Canada's cup teams or hell even Chief who's playing him 24 min a night..... I'll be sure to give you strong consideration.
