If any of you still have the goddamn game on, then rewind it to 5:30 of OT and watch Perron REFUSE to go into the corner for a puck in the Jet's zone, fall back on his heels because he's scared of being hit, and stand and watch as the Jets take the puck, skate down the ice, and win the game.....and likely the series if the last two games are any indication (and you KNOW they are). I don't give a rats arse how many concussions he's had or whatever his beardedclam arse problem is, he has no business playing in a game like this.....he's forking USELESS!! He has NEVER shown up in the playoffs for any team.......NEVER!!

Timmy, you got your answer.......the Blubs weren't even in the game after the Jets tied it in the 3rd. The Blubs #1 line vs. the Jet's #1 is a complete forking joke. The ONLY time Tarasenko will engage is on the PP when there's no chance he'll be hit.
THIS TEAM HAD ONE EVEN STRENGTH GOAL IN TWO HOME GAMES.....good damn thing they have 4 lines that can play with anyone in the league. 
No heart, and no character. As much as I like him, when Maroon is the best player on the ice, and the only one willing to mix it up......your team is forked.
This team is going golfing in 4 days.

Perron had a bad game all night, did revert back to his old play off self.
Blues were beat from mid third on.
O'Reilly is gassed.

Because Perron is possibly the series MVP (actually, runner up. Binnington has to be MVP, so far). You see coaches have to play the players that are playing the best. They can’t afford to go all Foghorn Leghorn on players, based on a hard-on from 10 years ago...

I'm having fun.....and I want them to win the damn cup.
Berube, Binnington, O'Reilly, Schenn, Maroon......that's the heart and soul of this team now. I don't give a rats ass about the rest of that team. None of them were there when I gave up my seats.....I hope they are in the process of rebuilding a gutless franchise.
I don't know if that's enough.....but with Calgary gone and Nashville and San Jose on the ropes....maybe the moon and stars are lining up for a run to the finals.
I don't see how the Blues win the series if they don't win tonight.

After reading your posts, I’m not sure you understand hockey, baseball,
Or football. I don’t watch many Blouse games, because they don’t show them in Oklahoma or Texas. When I do watch, I’m not impressed. I have watched the playoffs, because it’s shown nationally. The last two games they finally woke up and played some playoff hockey. Up until the last two games, I would have thought it was the pre-season they way they skated and failed to hit hardly anyone hard.
Go play armchairs quarterback and explain the game to Bubba. I’m well aware of what’s going on.

Fair enough......tonight was an impressive effort!
And I have come a long way.....since 1967. I still have a cut out of a cast I wore when I broke my arm as a kid signed by Gary Saborin, Noel Picard, and Bob Plager....Barclay Plager stopped and played street hockey with us in 1972....he lived 2 blocks from us.
I want a Stanley Cup for the St. Louis Blues!!! And nothing else is going to be good enough.

Back in HS, I used to sneak to STL to watch the Blouse play. My parents didn't want me to drive in STL traffic, so we just went and didn't tell anyone. We used to sit in the cheap seats at the Kiel Center, usually with some pole blocking our view. I don't keep up with the new players and the changes, nor can I name 1/2 the players on the team.......because I'm never home to watch the games.
I might not keep up with the Blouse as much as you do, but I KNOW good hockey when I see it. Nearly every regular season game I watched, it was shitty hockey. The first 4 games of this series, it wasn't great hockey. No hits, no pushing, no shoving, all smiles to the other team. Passing the puck in the triangle during a power play. The last couple playoff games were way better. They played like they wanted to win, and just not show up hoping to win. I might not be Towel Man, but I know what the hell is going on and have for a long time.
Go explain the power play to Bubba. He will get aroused. when you start off with 4 on 3 or 5 on 4

Blues won it in 6, as expected. Nothing surprising here. They were the better team, if both teams played at their best (see previous posts). The Jets gave up in game 6. Had the Blues not let off the gas, in the 3rd, that game could have been 4 or 5-0. That is something they need to improve on.
Only the Walt Kowalski's of the world could pick this team apart right now. A guy would have to be holding onto some real anger and hurt to be picking this team apart and declaring some players worthless and others OK. If I knew anyone like that I would suggest some therapy or maybe some beers to loosen the cob up their arse.
This team is pretty solid and every loss isn't because they have no heart or gave up. Contrary to the thought process of people that appear to have never played sports, there is another team out there trying to win as well. And sometimes that other team plays very well. Sometimes they have your number and shut down everything you try to do. Sort of like the Jets experienced Saturday night. It happens to every team. Just ask the Lightening and Flames... The Blues are not immune to it.
So, I would advise losing the I-hate-most-of-the-team-but-want-them-to-win charade and just enjoy the ride. Because it doesn't go any further than the next round if every player isn't playing up to their potential. Let's hope Perron continues his run of MVP type play since he's come back from the concussion!!!
