I hope the writer, and me, are wrong about the Note's goalie situation but I'm afraid we are not.. I don't think there is another starting goalie in the NHL more prone to standing on his head on a play and minutes later letting in a totally weak goal. King Inconsistent I!

They should be more fun to watch this year. They should play with more of an edge. They should make the playoffs.
They will go nowhere that they haven't already been with that idiot in goal.

I didn't watch any hockey last year (beer making has kept me busy) but I have to ask, how much of the chitty goalie play is goalie related vs poor defense/lack of offense in front of him?

That third had it all. Mostly bad and the ugly. Willing to give the rest of these guys some time to sort it out and all signs indicate they need it too.

JA follows up a stellar .80 save percentage in the opener with one of .83. GAA is a sterling 5.00.
Doug Amstrong is a genius! He completely ignored the most obvious need on this team.. I guess when you have a big guaranteed contract that is more important than winning. Yes the D has sucked but your goalie has to come through better than this for you to have a chance to compete.

His big mistake was extending him last summer with a year left on his old contract. Like that was smart.
Who wants him now? Half of me wants him to bomb just to get it over with sooner than later because that is likely what it will take to force Armstrongs hand.

Yeah, well......10 goals in 2 games is enough bombing for me.....let them move on with Johnson.
I don't see a team that is confident or even comfortable with Allen in goal. Send him home and head on down the road.

Bring on Ville Husso! I saw him play a bit for the "HomeofToto" City Mavericks two years ago and he looks like he could be the real deal. I definitely know he is better than the King of Inconsistency!

That's just it Husso was up what 3 times last year and NEVER saw a minute of hockey that I know of.
So now I guess they wonder if he is ready while every one in the building knows our #1 isn't ready more than half the time.
Better be Johnson on Thursday. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to make that decision.
