Got one coming in for water every few days---I try to discourage that behavior in that lion, bobcats, foxes and 'yote's.
I still have my daughter's Red Ryder I got her back in the late 80's---the big cat, the foxes and the 'yote's just get gone when I sting 'em in the azz with it, but the bobcat's go vertical about 5 feet when they get stung, quite a thing to see actually. I gotta try to shoot 1 handed and get a video when I nail one...something to see, doncha know!

I'll work at---usually my Pot Bellied Lab (female yeller dog that is a bit portly) gives me a heads up when predators are nearby---her hackles rise, and she growls low-like...or ravens go bat chit crazy and fly around screaming their heads off outside---which is another early warning system when certain critters are nearby.
See what I can do!!

WTF...been keeping vigilant, BUT, the only interesting critter I've seen out there since I mouthed off here about photos, is an extra tall and lanky 'yote---He doesn't jump when given Red Ryder justice historically though,so I don't bother stinging his azz any longer.
I'll keep watching my doggie, and listening for the ravens, and maybe I'll eventually catch a bobcat out there for a photo-op. Sooner or later it shall come to pass,Grasshopper...
