Mac Birding Moderator Reged: 12/14/05 Posts: 3365 Loc: The Great State of Nebraskey Forkin' Moles are in trouble now!       03/23/09 09:01 AM Edit   Reply   Quote   Quick Reply   The past two years I have had mah hands full fightin' these tunnelin' bastages. I applied Grubex last year but it didn't seem to do much. I tried them 'spensive toxic rubber worms with no luck. I even tried to trap them with the standard mole/ground squirrel trap. Nothin'. SO....yesterday I decided to re-apply what worked in OH so well. It's the YARD ROLLER!!! The sole reason I had not deployed it was because my yard has a lot of slopes and hills and some 500-600lbs. of weight can be tricky to keep from overturning or jack-knifing. My new lawn tractor I have now is bigger than the one before, and I discovered I could dang near handle any slope with the roller. Nothing kills a mole like that roller! Nothin'!!! Post Extras
