The landing gear of one of the hijacked airliners went through the roof of the building at the proposed mosque's location. I'd say anything within the debris splatter field IS part of Ground Zero, and not a place for a Muslim Victory Mosque - and that's what it is.

I read a couple of articles this morning. In one, the organization proposing the mosque won't deny that some of the money to build it is coming from Saudi Arabia and Iran. Do you think the those countries are paying to "promote cultural understanding", or do they want a victory monument?

Another article: A judge in Saudi Arabia is enquiring to see if surgeons can purposely sever a defendant's spinal cord and paralyze him for life. The guy was in a fight, the other guy ended up paralyzed, and the victim is asserting his "eye for an eye" right under Sharia Law. One hospital has refused to do it on humanitarian grounds, but they'll probably find someone who'll perform the surgery. How's that for barbaric?

That's the crap Muslims (even the "peaceful" ones) want to get established here. European countries are having huge problems with the Muslims they've let in, and Sharia Law is already in limited force in places in Britain. When the time comes, the liberal American idiots who think a Ground Zero mosque is OK will think having Sharia Law here is OK too, just watch.

We don't need any Muslim "culture" here, in my opinion, on account of what their "culture" is like. Let 'em go back to screwing goats in the hell-hole countries they come from.
