So I came across this sneaky travler a while back and somehow he found his way into my freezer. Had to do a bit of research to find out what woods work best for puma but finally settled on peach wood and blackberry briars. Six hours in the smoker this past weekend turned out pretty good. A little gamy perhaps, but not bad but what do you expect since he probably ate nothing but bunnies and road kill. I think I'll wait till the elk get established before doing more mountain lion BBQ.
