I'm for more security at schools. I'm OK with paying a bit more for some security upgrades and a bit larger Police presence (not sure about the logistics of that yet....need to think more).....but to just arm teachers and people in the schools because "they need to defend themselves".....BULLCHIT!! Look.....if you are a pro-gun person, as I am, please don't run off in the other direction as fast as the anti-gun folks are running off in their direction.....by doing so, you give them merit. If you act as if all of the guns already in our hands aren't enough, and we nned more to protect ourselves.....at some point, you sound like a friggin' lunatic....and I won't be on your side anymore.

My kids can't bring book bags to school tomorrow....they can't go into the school using the doors they usually use....their classroom doors will be locked once they are inside.......

I'm pissed off enough......don't push it. This is all a bunch of bullchit. I count on the people who understand what happened in Sandyhook to keep a level head, and understand that it was an incident much more rare than a simple lightning strike.

Shut the fork up about needing more guns....you'll make us look like them.

As an inside guy tell me how many times a year the average cop practices with his gun. Then tell me that a citizen is less qualified to defend the children in his/her care.

When cops are just minutes away, tell me how a teacher/principal already at the scene is likely to cause more harm than good when a bad guy starts shooting.
