If you made it to the first hole I led you to its called the Zero Hole. Glad I could help ya out. Would have been easier with me there. I figured with the amount of rain they had there would be plenty of water in the woods....and more than likely too much. It takes a while for it to drop out. Some of the holes next to the river on the North side would have been just about right. A couple places, the land slopes great, so you have no water and 1/2 mile in you have waist deep stuff. Would like to get down there next season, but its hard to know if it will be possible.
Next year depending on water levels come on down to Texas. If we don't get water, the death ditch will be unreal again. If we get water, the playas will be great hunting. I'm up for another season like this one. Awesome hunting from start to finish. One week left in goose and crane hunting. Got after the geese hard this morning.
