It worked great. I wanted to use a 9 wt as the fish were very fresh and very big, but when I unsheathed the St Croix 9wt 9ft it was the one I had snap on me in St Croix USVI in May. I guess I need to send that back. I have two other St Croix and a loomis that need to be repaired or replaced.
