Just sayin I haven't fished the salt but friends that have have said you have to deal with wind and be able to pick it up and put it down where the guide tells you,when he tells you A good river/stream fly fisher deals with these at times but the salt is another story If I was going to try it , I'd head to Hargrove's and see if he could help me do a crash course or refer me to someone who could Don't want to rain on your parade but you might want to stay with spin or bait casting gear at least to start catching fish.
