Mongo, as Modin likes to call Cody, worked his ass off on and off the field to make it happen. He had over 60 schools talking to us about wanting him to play football. From D1-AA, DII, NAIA, & DIII, with offers from 20+ schools. In the end he chose Bethel University. $30,000 a year is going to go a long way towards his degree. He will be studing in their Physics program and will eventually get an Engineering Degree with their 3+2 program at University of Minnesota. The physics program is one of the top 20 in the nation and he plans to minor is Spanish.
They win a ton of games, are constantly ranked in the the Top 10 and make the playoffs on a regular basis. Its going to be nice to watch great football once again. I'm also looking forward to the walleye fishing and duck hunting when we go to visit.  Not having to cheer for a naked baby will be a good thing. I guess I'm officially a Royals fan now, and will have to buy some Royal blue colors and gear. I would have never thought that would have happened. 
Proud day for the entire family next week. I got to raise my favorite football player. Doesn't get any better than that. Looking forward to this journey.
