I know Andy sometimes sees a couple over near St Paul off Dalbow Road at times but the minute they get reported, the chase is on and I avoid the area like it is 3 Mile Island on a windy day. I wonder if they really wanted that young crane to learn to migrate they didn't go ahead and let it loose on the Platte-- really isn't that much farther and there will be a hell of lot more cranes there than there ever will be at Swan lake.
