Welp, last night they played their game and it paid off. They played a heavy game, took away space from the Avs and were able to overcome some sloppy play and dumb penalties. They need to understand they will win a lot more 3-1 games than 7-6 games. They aren't fast enough and skilled enough to get into a track meet and scoring contest with teams like the Avs. Let's see if they can keep this mindset and stay in a decent pisition, in the standings...
By the way, Perron is picking up right where he left off last year. It took him 10 years but he is one helluva player. Bash and trash him all you want. I'd take 5 more of him ...
