bwaaaaaaaaaaaa
Lot's of good stuff for them to deal with this half of the season.
For one, I'd like to see more of the Mikko kid, I was very impressed with his 3-4 games and they sent him down for the break but does he come back?
Who's out when Sammy comes back?
What are they doing with Kyrou?
ALL OF THESE are issues about the great depth on this team and the "problems" having that depth. Do they make a big trade at deadline and move some of these players? I also heard Senko has just started back on the ice, non contact.
And what about Allen? WTF? Just when I thought it was over.....he's trying to pull me back in!
bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Not going to predict a thing here but rather just plead for good strong hockey up through April. The Central will tighten up. Binner needs a mini turn right now too. I just want them in the mix and hopefully pissed off about something when it's time to really go.
This is a team that is best suited for just watching and enjoying. So many moving parts with guys going down and coming up. I'm not going to put much energy into trying to figure out the why's. Between the cap limits and the rules about call-ups and all of the other dynamics and complexities, I get a headache trying to figger it out. I do see some very promising depth in the organization and feel pretty good about the next few years, even if they can't sign Petro...
Allen is Allen. Don't get too worked up about some good play. We've seen far better play out of him more than a few times and it always gets followed up with him getting a case of head-worms. He's right where he needs to be. He's the back half of the best goalie tandem in the NHL and it needs to stay that way. There are a handful of teams with one netminder making more than both of ours combined. The only need for worry is if Binnington goes down and Allen has to become the #1. Then it is anyone's guess if the head-worms come back. They seem to be staying away with this setup.
I'm jonesin' for some Blues hockey and they play in the Pacific Time zone tonight. To make matters worse, I'm going to be on the East Coast tonight. I'll b snoring by the time they stat the 2nd period (maybe before that)...
